IF A GIRL SAYS SHE'S NOT SCARED, THEN CAN'T EVEN LIGHT HER CIGARETTE, IT MEANS SHE'S SCARED OF SOMETHING

The best scene.

DANGER AHEAD

I saw Grease for the first time when I was eleven years old, and I believe I fell in love with Sandy's pants almost as much as I fell in love with Danny.

SIENNA AS EDIE

Because I love short hair, ridiculously thick eyebrows, big earrings and striped mini dresses.

RED BALLOONS PART TWO

Albert Lamorisse's classic short film Le Ballon Rouge from 1956.

THE PERFECT SCHOOL BAG

I watched "Le château de ma mère" yesterday and wow, imagine walking (or in my case, running) to school with a backpack like this. Of course the dream is to find it in a second hand shop but just in case that wouldn't happen, The Cambridge Satchel Company has both satchels and batchels with backpack straps.

PS. Devendra Banhart has absolutely nothing at all to do with this film, "Little Yellow Spider" is simply a sweet walk-to-school-melody.

LE FABULEUX DESTIN D'AMÉLIE POULAIN

The music, the colours, Paris, the little detail you didn't notice last time you watched it. Jean-Pierre Jeunet is a genius.

We just never get tired of this film.

EN KÄRLEKSHISTORIA (A SWEDISH LOVE STORY)

About love, from 1969 (that's why all the kids smoke). Beautiful beautiful movie and perfect music that really captures the feelings. And oh, we just love the late 60's/early 70's teenage style! The brunette girl looks like a young Brigitte Bardot.

NIAGARA

Marilyn Monroe and Jean Peters both look incredibly stunning in this movie! Shiny 50s hair, long pencil skirts, Marilyn's pink party dress, red lips, Jean's bikini, Marilyn's coat and jackets... And their yellow raincoats, wow!

ELVIRA MADIGAN

Elvira Madigan, a classic Swedish movie from 1967, is a beautiful but tragic love story about the butterflies we cannot live without nor hold in our hands forever. We adore the 1880s style! Elvira's straw hat, black headband, white sun parasol and romantic blouses and dresses with bows... Perfection!

LA DOLCE VITA

One of the most beautiful and classic scenes in film history, and we've been there!

VIVRE SA VIE

Because we love the smokey, black & white French New Wave movies from the 60s, especially if they include Jean-Luc Godard and Anna Karina.
